How to discover Phuket differently

Phuket is undoubtedly one of the hottest destination for beach and island hopping in Thailand. It houses some of the most beautiful seascapes that you should immerse into.
When you search for top things to do in Phuket, you will rush into many different ideas. Amongst the choice you have to make your days excitingly occupied, many will recommend you the famous Patong beach, exploring Phuket downtown. In this article, I give you my ideas of how you can see Phuket like no others with some unique experiences :

Take a Motorbike Ride to Banana Beach

Lying between Bang Tao and Nai Thon beach, Banana welcomes a small number of visitors with azure waters, powdery beach surrounded by lush tropical plants.
Phuket is probably best explored by scooter or motorcyle. A ride to Banana beach is a perfect excursion to appreciate the landscape of this island.

baba nest

Sunset Drink in Baba Nest Bar

Located inside Sri Panwa luxury resort, Baba Nest is surrounded by an infinity pool overlooking the Andaman Sea. It is simply one of the most mesmerizing points to capture the ocean panorama, sipping world class cocktail at sun-downer.

Visit Wat Srisoonthorn

Situated in north side of Phuket town, Wat Srisoonthorn is an off tourist site. It is famous for the giant reclining Buddha statue which is considered as the biggest in the area.

Whitewater Rafting in Phang Nga Camp

I recommended to take 9km rafting. Although it is not as thrilling as in Alps, France but it is definitely a good experience you should not miss.
It was an exciting down stream for us with lots of fun. The rapid is not so big but enough for kids to enjoy

thai food

Easy Thai Cooking Class

This course starts at 10.00 with a visit to a local market, a nice walk with chef. After having introduction of common Thai ingredient for a class, we picked up what we need for the cooking time.
We started with green curry then Tom Yum soup. For a person who likes spicy food like me, it is delicious, especially cooked by myself.

Panwa Viewpoint

If you expect a stunning view to Chalong Bay then Panwa is the place to be. Since it is a little park, not so many tourists visiting the site, you will have chance to enjoy your own view !

phuket island

Sail to Mergui Archipelago

This is highlight of our trip in Thailand. Within 6 days, we have tackled many remote islands, having abundant chances to spot amazing marine life, kayaking through hidden coves and anchor by sandy beaches.
The most impressive part of this sailing is the encounter to the wild island of Myanmar as well the Gypsies. We booked this trip through a local agency in Phuket.
There are many choices for liveboard in Thailand to select.
