Get Up Close With Cheeky Monkeys

Whilst this may not seem like an “obvious” adventure activity, it is!

The monkey’s at monkey temple in Ubud can be a little unpredictable and they love to steal stuff, whether that’s bananas, glasses or mobile phones. They aren’t afraid to climb on your head, so it’s not a task for the faint hearted.

But, if you can handle it, then it’s a super fun activity to interact with monkeys. You can buy a batch of bananas whilst there to feed them. Just hide all loose items!

bali swing

Swing Over Ayung River

If you haven’t heard of the famous “bali swing” then you’re in for a treat. It’s high up, with sweeping views of the river, the jungle and a mini waterfall.

It’s a beautiful sight, but those who are weary of heights will definitely need some convincing. This is sure to get your adrenaline pumping and makes for an awesome photo!

Driving a moped in Bali is not for the faint hearted. The traffic is chaotic, but that’s part of the charm and fun. Renting a moped allows you to discover areas of Bali that very few tourists visit so you can gain unique memories from your trip to Bali.

This means you’ll have beautiful secluded beaches to yourself and perhaps find beautiful waterfalls and undiscovered temples. Plus, renting a moped is super cheap, at around $3 a day.

You’ll dive 300 ft underwater and a pilot will be on board to tell you all about the sea life, corals and stunning fish around you.

Discover The Abandoned Airplanes Of Bali

If you want an adventurous experience, then rent a moped for the day (super cheap as mentioned before!) and discover some of the abandoned airplanes of Bali.

You can find a Boeing 737 in Kuta, a DC 10 in Kuta which is located on top of the once abandoned Gate 88 Mall and another 737 in Bukit Peninsula.

The Gate 88 Mall is also now host to random pop up parties and club nights with famous DJs, so it’s a unique experience in itself with an airplane on top.
