What stands out
The program for Indonesian citizens has several specific requirements. Unlike many other working holiday schemes, you must meet a minimum education level, such as completing two years of university study or holding a tertiary qualification. An English language test result is also mandatory.
A key feature is the annual cap of 5,000 first visas. The Australian government has announced that first applications will move to a ballot system. Registrations for this ballot are expected to open later in 2026.
This page covers the destinations in this directory only: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea. Singapore’s Work Holiday Programme is left out here because it depends on where your university is, not on your passport; see the Singapore sheet. A destination missing here may still run a program for your passport; check its official immigration site.
