This page is for citizens of Turkey interested in working holiday visas. It lists the programs available to you that are covered by this guide. The data shows two destinations currently offer working holiday schemes to Turkish passport holders: Australia and New Zealand. Both programs are for people aged 18 to 30 and allow a stay of up to 12 months.

For Australia’s Work and Holiday visa, the application fee is AUD840.00 for a first visa, and you must show you have about AUD5,000 plus funds for your flight out. For the New Zealand scheme, you need to have NZD $7000 in available funds. Both programs require you to have a tertiary qualification. The Australian program has a cap of 100 first visas per program year.

What stands out

The working holiday programs for Turkish citizens have specific educational and other requirements. For Australia, you must provide a letter of support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You also need to meet an English language standard, such as an IELTS average band of 4.5. The New Zealand scheme also requires a tertiary qualification and that you speak and understand English, but does not specify a test score.

Australia’s program is limited to 100 first visas per program year. This is a small quota, which can make securing a place competitive. The data shows this program was, when checked, open.

This page covers the destinations in this directory only: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea. Singapore’s Work Holiday Programme is left out here because it depends on where your university is, not on your passport; see the Singapore sheet. A destination missing here may still run a program for your passport; check its official immigration site.
