A working holiday visa lets young adults travel and take temporary work in another country, usually for 6 to 24 months, under an agreement between that country and their own. Which programs you can use depends on your passport and your age.

Every sheet in this directory is built from the destination government’s own pages (immigration departments, foreign ministries and labor ministries), with the exact source linked and the date we last checked it. Nothing here comes from agencies or other blogs. This version was checked on October 21, 2026.

How to read these sheets

  • Age ranges are inclusive, as written by each government; some programs count the day you apply, others the day the visa starts.
  • Fees are copied in the currency and form shown on the official page. Some programs charge extra items such as health surcharges, biometrics or registration after arrival.
  • Where a sheet shows a status (open, paused, closed, ballot), that is what the official page said on the check date.
  • Blank cells mean the official page we used did not state that detail. We leave it out rather than guess.
